This collaborative effort provided the local clothing line an inspiration to launch their new designs based on the identifiable elements of the giant soft drink global brand.
During the #BUMxPepsi Capsule Collection last Friday (June 8), at TriNoma Activity Center, fashion and entertainment personalities came to grace the momentous event; also spotted are the likes of BUM youth endorsers – Bianca Umali, Miguel Tanfelix, Jazz Ocampo, Joshua Camacho Bulot, Bryan Doronila del Rosario, Kim Lawrenz Ordonio (of JBK Band), Janeena Chan (TV presenter), online influencer-lifestyle blogger and host of ANC’s Chinoy TV, DJ Jhaiho of MOR 101.9 and Kapamilya star, Andrea Brillantes.
It is the first-ever tie up between a global brand and a retail clothing line. The collaboration offers t-shirts, hoodies, jogger pants, shorts, caps, shorts and bags that bear with both brands’ identifiable elements like the colors red, white and blue. Its designs are inspired from the vintage and Retro look of Pepsi.
“The #BUMxPepsi collaboration promises to be a beautiful collision of adventurous creations that would surely suit the discriminating taste of today’s generation. The capsule collection will reflect BUM’s core silhouettes and trendy looks with Pepsi youthful appeal.
“It will be available in all our boutiques and leading department stores nationwide,” explained Nathan Luke Atienza, BUM’s VP for Marketing and Finance.
This #BUMxPepsi collaboration would run for six months. It is perceived as a co-branding for both brands and yet can still find the vibe of BUM in every aspect of the collection.
